The Loranger Wolves lost against the Hammond Tornadoes two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Loranger's tough 53-28 defeat to Hammond might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Loranger has scored all season.
Hammond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joseph Carbo led the charge by scoring 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Cartez Williams, who scored nine points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Loranger and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Hammond, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Loranger will be home for the holidays to greet French Settlement at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. French Settlement is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Hammond, they will take on Franklinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
