 In other batting news,  Kiosy Steiner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.  Josh Zimmerman also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
Cole's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Randolph, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cole will welcome Jourdanton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Indians/Squaws will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Randolph, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Marion  at 4:00  p.m. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so the Ro-Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
