Andrew Jackson is 2-8 against Raines since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Andrew Jackson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Andrew Jackson hadn't beaten Ribault on the road since April 19, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 13-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Tristan Raines made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run. That run marked the first that he has scored this season.
In other batting news, Andrew Jackson let Lamar Stanfield and Jayden Brown run wild. Stanfield went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run, while Brown got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Stanfield is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was CJ Logan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Raines came up short against Riverside on Tuesday and fell 8-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost eight in a row.
Jamarcus Brown made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Jordan Williams was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Andrew Jackson's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Raines, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Raines' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Andrew Jackson has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Raines, though, as they've been averaging only 3.9 strikeouts. Will Andrew Jackson keep running through batters, or will the Vikings buck the trend?
Andrew Jackson might still be hurting after the 25-1 defeat they got from Raines in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Tigers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
