The Ranchview Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 46-26 loss at the hands of Emerson. While losing is never fun, Ranchview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 871st, while Emerson is ranked 419th).
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kennady Watson, who scored 4 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Smith, who scored 8 points.
Ranchview has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 4-7 record. As for Emerson, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Ranchview will face off against Pebble Hills at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Pebble Hills' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. Emerson is on the road again on Thursday and play against Van Alstyne at 9:30 a.m. on November 30th.
