On Friday Souhegan take on ConVal at 7:00 PM. Souhegan is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Souhegan couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas, falling 20-27.
Meanwhile, ConVal had to kick off their season on the road, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 14-7.
ConVal's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Souhegan's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if ConVal can add another positive mark to their record or if Souhegan can shake off the loss and take the spring out of ConVal's step.
