While Abbeville put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for V.B. Glencoe Charter. The Wildcats blew past the Gators 20-0. That looming 20-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Jacob Dugas made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Braylon Himel was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Trendon Campbell, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Abbeville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .828. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Abbeville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbeville will venture away from home to square off against Jeanerette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they will take on Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
