West Lafayette's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Benny Speaker, who picked up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Carson Kitchel, who threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns.
West Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Knox, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
