West Lafayette's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Benny Speaker, who picked up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Carson Kitchel, who threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns.
West Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Knox, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
West Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Knox will head out on the road to face off against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
