The Classical Academy Caimans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their eighth straight loss. Their rough 69-47 loss to Clairemont might stick with them for a while. Classical Academy has struggled against the Chieftains recently, as their match on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Issac Davis, who scored 16 points.
Classical Academy dropped their record down to 2-20 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Clairemont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Escondido Adventist Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Clairemont, they will head out on the road to challenge the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
