Despite the defeat, Old Mill saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Layla Anderson shot 64% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anderson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jemirah Brown, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.
Mt. Hebron's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Old Mill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.
Coming up, Mt. Hebron will challenge Chesapeake on Monday. Old Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
