 Meanwhile, Northern Guilford kept a clean sheet against Western Guilford  on Tuesday. They blew past the Hornets 7-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Northern Guilford considering their one-goal performance the  contest before.
 Grimsley's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-3-1. As for Northern Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
 Grimsley suffered a grim  5-0 defeat to Northern Guilford  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Can Grimsley avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
