The Tri-County North Panthers will square off against the Dixie Greyhounds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-County North is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
Dixie will be up against a hot Tri-County North squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Panthers came out on top against Franklin Monroe by a score of 4-1 on Friday.

Gabe Heltsley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Heltsley wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Luke Baughman, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Baughman's first of the season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Dixie ultimately got the result they hoped for last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over Franklin Monroe. Considering the Greyhounds' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Like Tri-County North, Dixie also got a great game from a two-way player: Garrett Williams. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Williams was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
In other batting news, Dillon Phillips and Logan Williams did most of the damage at the plate: Phillips got on base in three of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Logan got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Kevin Bowser, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
Tri-County North's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Dixie, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Tri-County North couldn't quite get it done against Dixie in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 5-0. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
