The Unity Reed Lions's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They secured a 60-55 W over Osbourn Park. The victory was just what Unity Reed needed coming off of a 60-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Unity Reed found their leader in underclassman Russell Robinson, who scored 21 points along with seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Zayden NIchols, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Unity Reed's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Osbourn Park, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unity Reed will take on Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gainesville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Osbourn Park, Osbourn Park and Osbourn will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Osbourn is no doubt hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
