Galesburg Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaela Hall, who scored 24 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Hall has scored at least 25% of Galesburg Christian's points. Lydia Reed was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Faith Christian's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Unity Christian's loss dropped theirs to 1-5.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Unity Christian have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 21.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Galesburg Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 17.7 per game.
