South Wake can attribute much of their success to Savannah Taylor, who scored nine points along with two steals, and Sydnee Woolard, who scored ten points along with three blocks. Another player making a difference was Mia Jones, who scored 11 points.
Durham Flight HomeSchool bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for South Wake, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
