Harrisburg extended the longest winning streak in 3A PacWest this week by beating Salem Academy, 55-8. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Santiam Christian took down Creswell 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Scio's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Cooper threw for 32 yards and Brian Sarbeck had 32 yards receiving. On the ground Sarbeck contributed 107 yards.
The Loggers' dynamic duo of Cooper and Sarbeck proved tough for Pleasant Hill to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Sarbeck was a passing and rushing force as Scio lost to the Billies.
Salem Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Andrew Baker has thrown for 599 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Nathan Schmidt has 23 catches for 628 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Harrisburg takes on Pleasant Hill. Scott Phelps' team is currently in first, while Kirk Miller's team is in fourth.
The Eagles led the league in scoring this week by notching 55 points on the Bulldogs.
