Make it six blowout wins for the Freeman Scotties this season. They blew past Deer Park 63-17 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Freeman who now have five in a row.
Freeman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micah Hodges out in front who scored 14 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Lapointe, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Freeman's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Deer Park, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Freeman will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Newport at 4:15 p.m. Newport comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Deer Park, they will head out on the road to challenge Lakeside at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
