The Alabama School of Math & Science Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Mobile Christian, falling 61-34. Alabama School of Math & Science lost against Mobile Christian in their previous head to head on November 7th, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 76-18 score last time.
It was another big night for Michael MJ Moore, who scored 20 points for Mobile Christian. That makes it two consecutive games in which Moore has scored at least 25% of Mobile Christian's points. Alex Smith was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Alabama School of Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mobile Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Alabama School of Math & Science will head out on the road to face off against Washington County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mobile Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against George County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. George County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
