The Calvary Christian Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Ada Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Calvary Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
Calvary Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They blew past East Dayton Christian 66-26 at home. Calvary Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Abigail Reinhard, who dropped a triple-double on 31 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Reinhard is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Madhuri Cook was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Ada didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Tigers on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 44-38 win. The victory was just what Ada needed coming off of a 66-18 defeat in their prior game.
Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Ada, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.
Calvary Christian might still be hurting after the 51-27 loss they got from the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Calvary Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
