3A Metro - West recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A Metro - West this week, Conifer beat Arvada 56-26. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Lutheran took down Alameda 55-9 last week, the largest margin of any game. James Willis threw for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.
Jack Curtis threw for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 11-17 with 0 interceptions.
Jessy Jackson was the best receiver in the league this week as the Bulldogs lost to Conifer. Jackson tallied 10 receptions for 106 yards. Travin Haris helped Arvada's passing attack out by catching 15 balls for 40 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Willis and Jamil Bond, the Lions have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Willis leads the league in passing with 2,008 yards, while Bond has rushed for 1,113 yards this season. D'Evelyn's Ty McGee leads the league in receiving yards with 974 on 50 catches.

So far this year, Connor Mateer has thrown for 1,810 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
