Morristown-Beard won against Parsippany last Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Crimson walked away with a 6-3 win over the Redhawks. The victory was nothing new for the Crimson as they're now sitting on five straight.

In other pitching news, Morristown-Beard got a great performance from Sam Bastardo as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Bastardo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Sam Cherins was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Hriczov, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Morristown-Beard's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Parsippany, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
