It was a good run, but Montclair unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Millikan Rams by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Rams are ranked 14th).

Montclair's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Millikan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Montclair didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Monte Vista on the 13th. Millikan has also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Segerstrom on the 11th.
