It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Saddleback had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Acaciawood Golden Eagles 55-41. Winning may never get old, but the Roadrunners sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Saddleback got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Angel Soberanis out in front who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. What's more, Soberanis also posted four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Christopher Trotter was another key player, putting up 21 points in addition to five assists and five boards.
The win got Saddleback back to even at 13-13. As for Acaciawood, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
Saddleback has already played their next matchup, a 68-61 victory against Gabrielino on the 18th. Acaciawood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
