The Clear Spring Blazers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Tussey Mountain by a score of 29-22. The victory was just what Clear Spring needed coming off of a 57-0 loss in their prior contest.
Noah Lucko and Isaiah Sosak, Tussey Mountain certainly did their beston Friday to try and avoid the loss. Lucko rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while Sosak rushed for 195 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Sosak's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Clear Spring's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Tussey Mountain, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Clear Spring will challenge Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tussey Mountain, they will be playing at home against Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Curwensville is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
