After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kinkaid, the Lutheran North Lions were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Alpha Omega Academy with a sharp 61-35 victory. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Lutheran North considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.
When it comes to explaining why Alpha Omega Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kathryn Peach. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Lutheran North's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Alpha Omega Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Lutheran North will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alpha Omega Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Faith West Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
