Despite the loss, Chenango Valley still got an impressive performance from Jordan Benowski, who scored 22 points. The contest was Benowski's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nate Marinaro, who scored nine points.
The win got Whitney Point back to even at 4-4. As for Chenango Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.
