The Corinth Holders Pirates will take on the Broughton Capitals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Corinth Holders comes in on three and Broughton on nine.
Corinth Holders hadn't beaten Rolesville on the road since January 7, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams.
Corinth Holders never let Rolesville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-23.

Corinth Holders can attribute much of their success to Addison Ramsey, who had nine digs and two aces, and Molly Hodges, who had 12 digs and two aces. Ramsey is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
They weren't the only good server: Corinth Holders was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Broughton and Enloe, and Broughton kept the tradition alive. The Capitals walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles on Tuesday.
The final score came out to 25-12, 24-26, 25-19, 25-14.
Broughton's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Corinth Holders, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
