West Laurens' win bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Telfair County, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
West Laurens will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Perry at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Telfair County will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Jeff Davis at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Allowing an average of 51.7 points per game, Jeff Davis has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest.
