Cornell/Lake Holcombe had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They crushed Augusta 36-0. This was the first game for both teams, giving Cornell/Lake Holcombe a 1-0 record and starting Augusta off at 0-1.
Next week, Cornell/Lake Holcombe take on Ladysmith at 7:00 PM. As for Augusta, they will face of against Athens. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
