Another signal caller making a difference was Anthony Barquinero, who threw for 127 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing.
Oceanside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Mykah Faletoi, Robert (Jr.) Parada, and Kymani Nua picked up one apiece.
Despite the loss, Holtville still got an impressive performance from Enrique Armas, who rushed for 141 yards. Armas' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
