The Baraga Vikings lost against the Dollar Bay Bays back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Baraga took a 51-37 bruising from Dollar Bay.
It was another big night for Liam Tourtillott, who scored 34 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Dollar Bay. The contest was Tourtillott's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Caleb Kentala was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven assists and five steals.
Baraga's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dollar Bay, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Baraga will head out on the road to face off against L'Anse at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. L'Anse comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Dollar Bay will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Linden-Hubbell at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Linden-Hubbell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dollar Bay in Michigan (Lake Linden-Hubbell is ranked 218th, while Dollar Bay is ranked 517th).
