After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin Parish, Peabody was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wossman Wildcats as Peabody made off with a 22-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warhorses, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Peabody's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-9. As for Wossman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Peabody didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 defeat against Madison Prep Academy on the 22nd. As for Wossman, they will head out on the road to square off against Southwood at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st.
