Baseball Recap: Bartlett Has No Trouble Against Chilton

While Bartlett put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Chilton. Bartlett put the hurt on Chilton with a sharp 22-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Bartlett has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. Chilton is on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bartlett will take on rival Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chilton is set to challenge their familiar foe Thorndale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
