Ady Rose Dowd, Wesson's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Thursday. Dowd produced her best game of the campaign: she scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

Coming up, Dowd and Wesson will be playing at home against Lawrence County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wesson is 7-2 against Lawrence County going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
