Center Place waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against El Dorado Christian by a score of 27-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Center Place also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Center Place had a senior duo take command as Charity Drope scored six points along with seven rebounds and Autumn Kroesen scored four points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Several Buffalos players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was McKenzie Cole, who scored eight points.
Center Place's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for El Dorado Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Center Place will head out on the road to take on Overland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. El Dorado Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Applewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
