There's no place like home for Topeka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Turner Golden Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

Topeka's got stronger as the match went on, holding Turner to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-9.

When it comes to explaining why Turner lost, don't look at Shyann Herring. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and one assist.

Topeka moved to 7-12-4 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Turner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
