Waunakee not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Monona Grove.
Waunakee not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Monona Grove between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-16.
DeForest better keep an eye on Kendall Scadden. She was instrumental in Waunakee's win, getting 14 digs and four aces.
DeForest's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Waunakee, their win bumped their record up to 27-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: DeForest has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Waunakee struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
