That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Nik Nelson, who  went 1-for-4 with three  runs and one  double.
 DeKalb was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 DeKalb's win bumped their record up to 14-2-1. As for Waubonsie Valley,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 7-6 record.
