Mark Snyder and Co. Win 20th in a Row
Columbine picked up their 20th consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Mark Snyder. Snyder rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.
Columbine pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Snyder will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Arvada West on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Deion Giles-Ray Leads Denver East over Columbine
On Saturday, Denver East had to settle for second even though Deion Giles-Ray put up the best numbers he has all season. Giles-Ray forced a fumble and made 15 total tackles.
Denver East's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. Giles-Ray and Denver East will challenge Chatfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Andrews As Ralston Valley Won 15-12
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Zeke Andrews stepped things up a notch to give Ralston Valley the 'W'. Nobody could stop Andrews as he rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 177 yards while completing 78.3% of his passes.
This season, Andrews has averaged 237.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.17 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 55.5 rushing yards.

Caleb Gomez posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He picked up two sacks and made four total tackles.

Columbine Wins 20th-Straight Thanks to James Basinger
James Basinger's big game helped extend Columbine's winning streak to 20 on Saturday. Basinger was unstoppable, rushing for 162 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 125 rushing yards dating back to last season.
