That's the first time this season that Waddy scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Jones, who scored five points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Surrattsville's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-6. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Surrattsville will head out on the road to take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South is ranked 166th, while Surrattsville is ranked 148th). As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, they will be playing at home against College Park Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
