The Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers made easy work of the Highlands Bluebirds on Wednesday and carried off an 8-2 victory. The Trailblazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool got a great performance from Hayden Hubert as he struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Hubert has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caleb Hodge, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Landon McIntosh, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Highlands only posted a batting average of .192.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Highlands, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 17-7-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool will take on Elder at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Trailblazers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Highlands, they will head out to take on Simon Kenton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
