When it comes to explaining why Elkhart lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Javeis Hines. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. That's the first time this season that Hines scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinton Harris, who scored five points.
Elkhart's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Mishawaka, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
