The Wadley Bulldogs came into Tuesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Beauregard 68-54 on Tuesday. For Wadley, this counts as revenge for the 60-57 defeat the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Wadley was led to victory by Tedrick Burns and Jaquez Wilkes. Burns scored 16 points along with seven assists and four steals, while Wilkes almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarious Spraddling, who scored 15 points.
Wadley's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Beauregard, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Wadley will head out on the road to square off against the Hornets at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Beauregard has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for they, they will be playing at home against Wadley at 6:15 p.m. Wadley is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
