The Trinity Trojans fell victim to the Independence Blue Devils''s stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Blue Devils, falling 31-0. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Independence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dom Narduzzi, who threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Cy Jollife was another key contributor, picking up 60 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
This is the second loss in a row for Trinity and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Independence, the victory was the fourth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 4-6.
Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Independence is also done with their season.
