Barbe came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the LaGrange Gators 57-23. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Barbe has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. As for LaGrange, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Barbe has already played their next matchup (against Crowley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. LaGrange will head out on the road to square off against Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Midland has won three straight at home, while LaGrange won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
