Jackson Byrd Goes Supernova in Cleveland Victory
 Cleveland picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Jackson Byrd. Byrd did his part (and then some), rushing for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt for the 'W'. Those 121  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Byrd might just drop another big game when he faces off against Garner on Friday. When  Byrd last faced the Trojans  back in October of 2023, he threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in two rushing scores.

Damonte Garner Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Sadly,  Damonte Garner posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Southeast Raleigh over Cleveland on Friday. Garner picked up 141 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown.
 Southeast Raleigh is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-3. Garner and Southeast Raleigh will be playing in front of their home fans against Corinth Holders  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Sawyer Lowe Turns in Another Game with at Least Eight  Total Tackles
  Sawyer Lowe continued his hot streak  on Friday by dropping his 21st-straight game (dating back to last season) with  at least eight  total tackles. He picked up  a  sack and made 17 total tackles (3.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's  had all season long.
 Lowe might have his next game, a home matchup with Garner, circled on his calendar. Lowe forced a fumble and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss) the last time he and the Trojans duked it out  back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Ty Powell Leads Southeast Raleigh over Cleveland
 Southeast Raleigh came up short  on Friday despite  Ty Powell delivering his best game to date. Powell threw for 369 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.
 On the year,  Powell  has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 201 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 59.88  passing yards per game.

 On Friday, Willow Spring got the W thanks in part to  Jordan Ledgester playing the best football he has all season. Ledgester wasn't messing around, forcing a fumble and making 24 total tackles. The  match was his sixth straight with six or   more total tackles dating back to last season.
 Willow Spring's victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-6. Ledgester and Willow Spring will square off against Clayton at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
