Sheridan will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Noxon at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.
Sheridan simply couldn't be stopped last Friday, as they easily beat Heart Butte 64-25. No one put up better numbers for Sheridan than senior Moxon Lee, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 338 yards and 7 touchdowns. In fact, with 11 tackles Lee was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Noxon have to be aching after a bruising 36-64 defeat to Hot Springs. It was a tough break for Noxon, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.
Sheridan's win lifted them to 2-2 while Noxon's loss dropped them down to 2-2. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
