Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Evergreen Valley). They were the clear victors by  a  19-13 margin over the Hill Falcons on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
 Mackenzie Brongiel was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Daven Woodham, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances.
 Evergreen Valley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .574. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Evergreen Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Hill, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 3-7.
 Looking ahead, Evergreen Valley will take on Gunderson at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Grizzlies have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last four matches. As for Hill, they will venture away from home to  challenge Harker  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
