Bronson is 8-2 against the Spartans since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bronson Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Springport Spartans at 7:00 p.m.
Bronson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 69-49 loss at the hands of Concord.
Meanwhile, Springport beat the Panthers 52-40 on Thursday. 52 seems to be a good number for Springport as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Braydon Hawes was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Baum, who scored six points along with two steals and two blocks.
Bronson's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Springport, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Bronson was able to grind out a solid victory over the Spartans in their previous matchup back in January, winning 63-56. Will Bronson repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
