Chazy is 0-3 against Plattsburgh since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chazy Eagles' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Plattsburgh Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Chazy is ranked 302nd, while Plattsburgh is ranked 295th).
Even though Chazy has not done well against Boquet Valley recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Chazy skirted past Boquet Valley 62-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Chazy has posted yet this season.
Chazy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carly LaPierre, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points LaPierre has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Rentas, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Plattsburgh was able to grind out a solid win over Ticonderoga on Tuesday, taking the game 53-45.
Chazy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Plattsburgh, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Chazy took a serious blow against Plattsburgh when the teams last played back in December of 2021, falling 64-28. Can Chazy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
