The Choctawhatchee Indians will square off against the Navarre Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Choctawhatchee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Choctawhatchee took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Pine Forest a 12-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Keeson Wheeler was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Choctawhatchee: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Jordan Figueroa was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3.
Choctawhatchee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Navarre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-4 to Milton. Raiders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since on Monday.
Colton Deman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
At the plate, Bo Shipley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Jameson Rasmussen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Choctawhatchee has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. Navarre's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
Navarre's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Choctawhatchee hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. It's a different story for Navarre, though, as they've only averaged .250. Will they be able to contain Choctawhatchee's hitters?
Choctawhatchee suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Navarre in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Choctawhatchee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
